I have been playing WoW since launch, well over half my life at this point, but when I think about starting this game as a new player, it seems very overwhelming with the sheer amount of classes, abilities, and specs you have to play around. However, in 2025, it’s increasingly clear that WoW’s aging foundation is holding it back. The learning curve for this game is probably a lot steeper than veteran players might realize.
